Do you need an RSG in SA?
Q: Who needs an RSA / RSG? RSA: It is mandatory in QLD, NSW, VIC, TAS, NT, while in ACT, WAand SA it is not. RSG: In NSW, QLD and TAS, getting your RSG is mandatory (in Sydneyit’s called RCG), In VIC and SA you have six months afterstarting employment to attain one, while in NT you have three months.

How can I check if my RSA is still valid?
You can view, show, update and renew your competency card on the Service NSW mobile app. Each refresher training course takes about 45 minutes to complete. If you have both RSA and RCG competencies, the renewal date on your card is determined by the date you completed the first course.
Do I need an RSG certificate with my RSA?
If you need an RSG with your RSA click these states to get a discount – QLD, WA, NT and SA Unfortunately RCG for NSW is not currently offered online. If you are planning to only work in jobs where you are sure that there are NO slot machines – like restaurants, then there is no need to do the RSG certificate.

What is the role of the RSA unit?
