Can a 970 run 4K?

We deployed the GTX 970 to run all three games in the Crysis Trilogy at native 4K resolution with a 30fps target – and it worked. There’s no need to turn off the highest quality textures in any of the Crysis games – there’s ample memory available with the GTX 970.
